Her friends are well not so existent, she has a learning disability that frustrates her to no end, her brother is oh so annoying and her parents divorce was messy. But tonight she steps into a book store with a not so normal shelf stalker named Ross. What will happen to her family, her grades, her love life, her social life? That all depends on how many risks Maddie will take this winter and how many people she is willing to let down in order to make herself happy.
