Sebastian Kirkman (yes that's my actual last name lol) presents his FAN MADE trailer for season 9 of The Walking Dead. My love & excitement for The Walking Dead died shortly after The Governor was killed. Eversince than, the show has not had the same magic & flare that it once had. I love Negan, but Jeffrey Dean Morgan, can only do so much. His comical lines & wicked charisma can't stop me from noticing that the past few seasons have been chock-full of facial expressions, scenery shots, walkers growling in the wind, and the same conversations about keeping hope alive & the fight for a "better world" that grew old back in season 5. However, I am actually really excited to see the Whisperers make their debut in the show! I think they are one of the most unique additions to zombie history! There is just a certain creepy & realistic factor that the Whisperers bring to the table and that's why I can't wait to see how they use Alpha, Beta, and the rest of the group in a live action setting. If done right, I could see the Whisperers era bringing back the old magic of the show and maybe even boost ratings. The storyline I came up with while putting this trailer together is this... Rick & all the others are in the midst of a new beginning. The communities are thriving and no conflict has crossed their paths since the end of Negan's reign. But outside the walls of these reborn civilizations is another group. The Whisperers. Throughout the 1st & maybe even the 2nd half of the 9th season, we'll see glimpses of Negan's life before he became the king of the Saviors (that's what those shots of JDM in the desert indicate) while he sits in his cell and the only companion he has is his thoughts. The seeds of war will be planted while tensions rise between the communities & the Whisperers. It'll lead to events shown in the trailer like Rick in his car chasing down Alpha, Alpha sneaking through a sewer system to escape Rick, Beta (the big dude with some weight to him shown in a few scenes) killing Enid then dropping her in small body of water within the woods where the Whisperers live, and much more! Throughout this ordeal, Rick & Maggie's differences will be pushed aside. A civil war between the two will be avoided due to them having to work together to defeat this walker skin wearing threat. Then shortly after or as soon as The Whisperer War comes to a close, we will then have to wait & see what happens in season 10. ***************************************************************** This video was made purely for fun.
