After much anticipation and delay, I'm proud to present to you my latest music video; The Gift Director's Cut! Like I said before, Black Ops III and zombies in general means a lot to me, so I really wanted to give it a nice sendoff with this one. I also wanted to experiment with pre-rendered shots in a music video more as opposed to one or two cutaways like in my previous tribute. And like last time, I wanted to try something a bit outside my normal content comfort zone so please forgive me if it's a bit rough around the edges. Regardless, I really hope you enjoy the video! ____________________________________________________________________ Questions you may have and answers to said questions: "Where did you get all those shots of the characters?" Most of them were shots I created myself with the game assets and Cinema4D. And of course Wraith. What a wonderful program! "How long did this take to make?" About three and a half months on and off. That's why there's some continuity errors and changes in material and lighting work. "There's significantly less death machine and DG-4 spam in this one. Was that in response to criticism on your first tribute?" Yep. Looking back on it, there is far too much of those two weapons. Ah well. Live and learn I guess. "Why don't Doctor Monty or The Children appear in this video?" This video is meant to focus exclusively on the O4... and I don't have the models of Monty and the children. "But Rizzo, the ending of the video doesn't fit with the canon story." I know. It was never meant to. It was actually spun from an idea my friend DatOtherGuy had on Twitter where the four heroes get to meet the souls of their past selves one final time before everything ends. That idea is actually what motivated me to start making this video in the first place. ____________________________________________________________________ Credits: - Treyarch: Because of course - DTZxPorter: Wraith - Mr. Ass/Fruckbatt: In-game body acting for about 18 minutes before falling asleep on his sofa - DatOtherGuy: In-game body acting on 300 ping.
