The Game, né Jayceon Taylor le 27 novembre 1979, est un rappeur américain originaire du quartier de Compton à Los Angeles (Californie) et à été découvert et révélé par Dr Dre. Ancien membre d’un gang de rue, il se tourne vers la musique et la religion après avoir été atteint de cinq balles et laissé pour mort. Membre du gang Bloods, il prône la paix plutôt que la guerre. D'ailleurs, il prit part à la tournée mondiale de Snoop Dogg (ex Crip De Long Beach, CA), preuve de sa volonté de calmer les guerres entre ces deux gangs rivaux. Enfance C'est sa grand-mère qui lui donne le surnom de Game car il était toujours prêt à jouer, il en fera son nom de scène dans le milieu du rap. Cependant, sa mère le met à la porte, il est alors livré à lui-même. C'est pour cela qu'en 2000, il s'installe dans une banlieue avec son frère avec lequel il va développer son commerce de drogue.
