It’s a song for our times. Created by the talented team at Dreamcatchers Dreamtime, the video marries the dynamic stage presence of Miss Connie with the striking visual aesthetic of art directors George Barnes and Sacha Kenyon, and director Nathan Lewis. Animated artwork augments hyper-real landscapes to create a seamless visual aesthetic. Shooting against green screen, the video takes Connie in and out of the superimposed background, breaking the ‘fourth wall’ and revealing the illusion of the green-screen and studio beyond. Said the band of the video: “We’d collaborated with George on graphics for our live show, our singles, and Connie’s costumes, and we had the idea of bringing all these elements together in one music video.” “When we were writing the song we always imagined singing 'I Ain’t Over You' from a mountain top: it's a song with a big vocal about being strong, even though you don't really want to be, hence the mountain ranges. We’re super-happy with the result”. Miss Connie and Black Angus started making beautiful music together in 2004. They’ve released three hugely successful albums spearheaded by a spectacular salvo of chart-topping anthems including UFO, Pictures and I Love It. In the swirling midst of albums and tours, Connie lent her vocals and lyrics to albums from superstars including Jay-Z, Kanye West and Snoop Dogg. In 2013 she was a guest mentor on Australia’s biggest TV show at the time, The Voice. http://www.facebook.com/sneakysoundsystem http://www.instagram.com/sneakysoundsystem http://www.twitter.com/snkysndsystm http://www.soundcloud.com/sneakysoundsystem http://www.youtube.com/user/sneakysoundsystem http://www.sneakysoundsystem.com
