America's Got Talent 2016 The Clairvoyant Demystified (Magic revealed) This video explains the concept behind Thommy Ten's and Amelie van Tass's trick in the audition show on AGT 2016. There is no doubt their exact method may not be the same. The code, the electronics, the sequence, maybe they use a fake blindfold ..etc, may in fact be different than what it is presented here. Here we like to present what's the most probable. Look at it as the basic principle of their act. Thommy moved his toes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILOjUHn39qM&t=122 We have 2 more reveals for the Clairvoyants: Jelly bean trick: https://youtu.be/75WTu62oFvo Die/Card/Bill trick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Yen3uAFS_c Please watch and support the original act in the AGT channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ILOjUHn39qM We are on Twitter: https://twitter.com/yamato905 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/Yamato-Educational-Video-Library-104345566672858/?fref=nf FAQ: Q: There was only ONE tap in the shoe. Explanation is wrong. It couldn't be morse code. A: The trigger is INSIDE the shoe, not UNDER the shoe. Thommy only needed to move his toes inside the shoe. The tip of his shoe did not necessarily move when the toes moved. Unless he wore tight ballet shoes! There are always enough room for your toes to move inside in regular shoes. Besides, Thommy's shoes were probably one or two sizes bigger than his feet. This gave him more room for toe movement. This product is available online https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JnchSQ_gNXI#t=287 Q: How did they know who the provider of the iPhone was? A: That's why Tommy switched on the screen of that iPhone. Watch their act (at 2:48) again if you missed it. The name of provider is usually on the top left corner of the lock screen. If it wasn't, Tommy would not even mention about provider. Q: Impossible. Amelie decoded very fast. Nobody can send and decode that fast. A: 1. It was not a live show. Time appeared to pass quickly on TV after editing. 2. Their code does not need to be exactly the same as morse code. It can very well be a simplified version. 3. You may as well say nobody can run 100 meters under 10 seconds too! Obviously a few in the world can and you don't know them until you watch the Olympics. Please do not ask us to try running 100m just to prove human can run this fast. It was their talent, not ours, that they were showing in AGT. How will they win if they are not different from most of us? Q. Impossible. The other acts they did somewhere else did not have the swing. Their next act will prove you wrong! A. If you ask this question, you really need to put more effort to train your mind before you perform any magic. There is no restriction that one act and the other acts must have the same setups. In this AGT act, the receiver was much more conveniently hidden in the swing because the swing was there. Q: You are wrong. Thommy didn't look and didn't have enough time to check the expiry date on the eye drop himself. A: How do you know that? Firstly, this was not a live broadcast. The video was edited to highlight their performance. Secondly, the camera might not even face him when he read the expiry date. Q: You should not reveal other people's trick. You are a hater. A: In the business world, if you steal confidential information from other companies, reveal it or re-use it, you are in the wrong both legally and ethically. However, if you figure out how others do what they do yourself, it is 100% legal to share whatever you find. The intention is not to ruin the fun. The intention is also not to ruin the reputation of performers. Contrary, by understanding what's behind the trick, we learn how to perform an illusion and truly appreciate how much talent it takes for performers to plan out a trick. For example, you don't understand the theory of Relativity, you don't understand how great Albert Einstein is. He is just another Nobel prize winner to you, isn't he? Q: If you are so smart, why don't you go to AGT yourself instead of revealing other's trick? A: We have never made any claim who are smarter. It is not the purpose of our videos to show off what we can do. Instead, the purpose is to show what we like to do: analyze, share and educate. That's all. In fact, some acts are not analyzable due to different factors. Some acts just don't have enough information display on TV for analysis and for us to draw any reasonable conclusions. _________________________________________________________ Piff the magic dragon, Aiden Sinclair, Oz Pearlman, Mike Super, Grace Vanderwaal, and Mat Franco all came from the same talent show AGT (美國達人秀), India's Got Talent, Britain's Got Talent are similar shows worldwide.
