Like many award shows, there’s almost always a little bit of time for some fun banter before an award is presented. And right before Nicki Minaj was announced the winner of Best Hip Hop Video where she beat out Cardi B, Drake, The Carters, J. Cole & Migos, Tiffany Haddish found the time to roast Fifth Harmony with this comment. Now, it’s safe to say that Harmonizers weren’t too happy with that joke, but thankfully they had Nicki on their side. Shortly after Nicki made her way to the stage to accept her award, she clapped back at Tiffany for her Fifth Harmony joke. Once that was over and done with Nicki proceeded to thank her loyal fans as well as every artist who helped her out on her album. But that’s not all! Nicki also took to twitter right after her speech to thank Steven Klein since she forgot to mention him on stage.
