Nothing says your solo career is doing well like being at the center of a bunch of different tabloid rumors, which is exactly what’s happening to Niall Horan these days... Niall went on radio station KIIS FM to chat with Ryan Seacrest about his solo career and hit song, “This Town”, when Ryan brought up Niall’s former romance with Selena Gomez. The pair were caught hugging at the AMAs recently which sent all of their fans into a romance rumor frenzy, which is probably what prompted Ryan to tell Niall QUOTE, “You should rekindle with Selena. I like her.” Niall didn’t confirm or deny the rumors, but he did encourage Ryan to QUOTE, “Sort it out” for him. Hmmm, it sounds like Ryan Seacrest might be able to add matchmaker to his long list of jobs if Niall was actually serious about the request. And let’s hope he was, because he and Selena would make one helluva power couple! Niall also spoke about all the rumors about One Direction’s break being permanent, saying QUOTE, “We're all just kind of doing our own bits and pieces now. We're all enjoying it, we're all in touch, but I think people have this public perception that we all hate each other and One Direction is never going to happen ever again, which is complete BS. It definitely will. We're just enjoying our time.” So there you have it, Directioners! The boys are finally coming back! Eventually, at least... As for more solo music, Niall told Ryan that was definitely coming soon, saying QUOTE, “I'll be bringing out another song starting next year, and I'll probably try to bring the album out just before the summer...Yesterday, I recorded my eighth song, so I'm kind of three-quarters of the way there." Okay so we’re not going to get it in time for the holidays, but at least we have one more thing to look forward to in 2017, right?!
