This is an unedited interview from a short film I directed called "Getting your name up"the film was for the video issue of Don't tell it magazine and was to rise awareness of the improsonment of graffiti writer Simon Sunderland aka"Fista". I asked Malcolm for his help with an interview and obliged happily. The interview took place in my flat in London was filmed by Nick clark and recorded by Jossie Avrats. You will notice the conversation became quite casual at the end hence the camera was put down on the table. This interview is a great testimony to the contribution of Malcolm Mclaren to spreading graffiti to Europe and a great insight to the history of Hip hop. Enjoy Ariel Van Straten
