Chromeo est un duo d'electrofunk basé à Montréal1,2 et New York. Le duo est formé de Pee Thugg (Patrick Gemayel) et de Dave 1 (David Macklovitch, frère d'Alain Macklovitch plus connu sous le pseudonyme d'A-Trak). Les deux se sont rencontrés durant leur jeunesse et se définissent comme l'unique collaboration musicale Arabe Juive depuis le début des temps. Dave 1 possède un doctorat en littérature française et enseigne à l'université de Columbia. Il a été élu professeur le plus sexy de Columbia pour l'année 2010 Leur premier album "She's in Control" est sorti en 2004, et était composé de nombreux titres joués en club comme Needy Girl, Mercury Tears, Rage!, et Destination: Overdrive. En 2005, Chromeo a sorti un mix de titres dance/funky sur le label belge Eskimo, intiutlé "Un Joli Mix Pour Toi". Debut 2007 ils ont fait les premières parties de Bloc Party pendant leur tournée anglaise. Leur deuxième album "Fancy Footwork", produit par Chromeo eux-même, avec l'aide de Tiga et mixé par Philippe Zdar de Cassius, est sorti le 26 juin 2007. Read more on Last.fm.
