SUBSCRIBE for more deliciousness: https://youtube.com/HealthyHints?sub_confirmation=1 ---------- Caprese Salad with Balsamic Reduction Preparation time: 10 minutes Cooking time: 4 minutes Servings: 6 Ingredients: 4 large tomatoes, sliced 12 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced 3 tbsp olive oil salt salt, freshly ground black pepper ½ cup balsamic vinegar 1/3 cup fresh basil leaves Directions: Add the balsamic vinegar in a small saucepan and bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium and cook for 4 to 5 minutes or until the vinegar has reduced to 1/8 cup. Remove from the heat and set aside. Arrange the tomato and mozzarella slices on a platter or a wooden board. Arrange the basil leaves between the slices. Sprinkle with salt and black pepper to taste. Drizzle with olive oil and balsamic reduction and serve.
