In this episode, I build Cloud Strife's Buster Sword from Final Fantasy VII... for only $25* worth of materials. Materials used: 3 sheets of foam board from the dollar store 6 sheets of 2mm craft foam A 1/4" x 3" x 24" plank of basswood 3 yards of 3/4" burgundy ribbon Acrylic paint in gold, silver, and black *Does not include the cost of Mod Podge, sand paper, or glue sticks, since I already had these things on hand, but still... even with the purchase of those items, this project can easily cost less than $50. **Note to commenters** Before commenting about the music used in this video: I created all the music myself with Fruity Loops. I did not rip it from any game from the Final Fantasy franchise. I intentionally made it sound similar to FF-style music because the WHOLE VIDEO is a PARODY of FF games. Likewise, the music is also a PARODY, kinda like how Weird Al Yankovic makes parodies of popular songs. I'm well aware that the music I used sounds like FF music. That's the point. Unfortunately, when we focus on the music I used, it takes the focus off of the rest of the video. It's a not-for-profit tutorial, meant to help cosplayers/prop builders who may be struggling with prop construction.
