Beef Stir Fry With Broccoli & Oyster Sauce (Chinese Style Cooking Recipe) Welcome to Xiao's Kitchen. My name is Xiao Wei and my goal is to make your cooking simple and exciting. Ever since my Mother showed me how to cook at an early age, I have always had a strong passion for cooking. My family still live in Inner Mongolia, in the northern part of China, where I visit each year and learn new Chinese recipes. Ingredients: 200g Beef Fillet 150g Broccoli 3 Cloves Garlic 5g Ginger 1 Small Onion 2 Tbsp Oyster Sauce 1 Tsp Light Soy Sauce ½ Tsp Coarse Black Pepper 1 Tsp Sugar 3 Tsp Cornflour 1 Tbsp Rice Wine Method: 1. Finely chop the garlic and ginger 2. Cut onion into bite-size pieces 3. Cut broccoli into bite-size pieces 4. Cut beef into thin slices and place in a bowl, add rice wine and 2 Tsp of cornflour, mix well and leave to marinate for 10 minutes 5. Combine the remaining cornflour and 50ml of water in a bowl 6. Heat 1 Tbsp of oil in a wok over high heat 7. Place beef in the wok, stir-fry for 2 minutes and then remove from wok 8. Heat another Tbsp of oil in the same wok 9. Place onion and broccoli in the wok and stir-fry for 30 seconds 10. Add oyster sauce, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger and black pepper, stir-fry for a minute 11. Add 50ml of water and bring to the boil 12. Stir and pour the cornflour mixture into the wok, bring to the boil 13. Add beef, stir-fry for a minute - ensure beef is evenly coated with the sauce 14.
