Groupe fondé à Dubai en 2003 par Ben Bruce, Asking Alexandria prend d'abord le nom de : Amongst Us. Appelé ensuite End of Reason, la formation prends finalement le nom d'Asking Alexandria début 2006. Le groupe créé un mini-album « Tomorrow, Hope, Goodbye ». Peu de temps après, Bruce quitte Dubai pour retourner vivre en Angleterre, ce qui mène à la dissolution du groupe. En 2008, le groupe se reforme, garde le nom d'Asking Alexandria et prends le genre métalcore , screamo/éléctro. Il incorpore cette fois ci : Danny Worsnop (chanteur), Camron Liddell (guitare), James Cassells (batterie) et Sam Bettley (basse). Après plusieurs mois en tournée, le groupe signe une entente avec l'étiquette Sumerian Recods, qui édite l'album Stand up and scream Le groupe compte sortir un nouvel album en décembre 2010 appelé : Reckless and Relentless.
