This is the second episode and third overall of the first season of my all-time favorite television show "America's Funniest Home Videos." A huge, unexpected hit when it debuted as a primetime series on ABC in January of 1990 and continuing to go on strong with a whole new season starting in October 2015 under a new host in "Fresh Prince of Bel-Air" alum Alfonso Ribeiro, "AFV" showcases videos of people across America commiting blunders and mishaps, life's annoyances, cute kids and babies, and the hilarious and often painful epic fails and nutshots but in all good fun and people's amusements. "AFV," as the program is also known now, also gives out weekly prizes to the three funniest videos of each episode. $10,000 is awarded to first place, $3,000 for second place and $2,000 for third place. $10,000 winners can also compete for a chance to win $100,000, then of course, over the last ten seasons, the $100,000 winners can compete for a Disney Vacation Package at the end of the season. "America's Funniest Home Videos" has given out over $15 million dollars in prizes and trips and the show is seen in over a hundred countries in addition to being reimagined in 25 countries such as the U.K.'s "You've Been Framed," Italy's "Paperissima," Finland's "Hauskat Kotivideot," "Australia's Funniest Home Videos" in Australia with also "AFV" being customized for all Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America (except for Mexico and Venezuela, where eligibility for prizes is void) and one just for Portuguese-speaking audiences in Brazil. Bob Saget is the host for this episode and was host for the first eight seasons, followed by the team of Daisy Fuentes and John Fugelsang for only two, then Tom Bergeron for fifteen seasons. With Season 26 beginning to start taping in August of 2015, Alfonso Ribeiro is the new host. So enjoy and thanks for watching. I DO NOT OWN THIS!!!!!
