Shumi hasn’t left Dhaka’s Acid Survivors Foundation, a remarkable clinic, or the floor on which she’s housed, since she arrived eight months ago. After such a long period of seclusion the inspirational clinic staff, many of whom are also survivors, start to fear for her mental health. They know that to survive, Shumi needs to face her fear and, go outside.
