Ce quartet indie rock/punk rock nous vient de Dryburgh, en Écosse. Ils ont commencé à monter sur les scènes début 2005 en faisant des premières partie des groupes tels que Babyshambles, Primal Scream et The Undertones. Initialement, ce groupe a commencé à jouer dans un petit pub pas très loin de chez eux, The Bayview (dont ils se sont inspirés pour le nom de leur groupe).
