Hari mirch ko kaat len. Pyaz ko slices main kaat len. - Ek pan main oil shamil Karen. Oil garam hone par chana daal aur mash daal shamil karke bhoonen. Jab color change hone lage tu pyaz, zeera aur rai shamil karke bhoonen. - Pyaz naram hu jaye tu usmei sabut gol mirch, haldi aur kuti lal mirch shamil ker k pakain. - Ab aalo, kary patay aur namak shamil karke achi tarah mix Karen. Agar khushk hone lage tu thora sa pani shamil kar len. Hari mirch, hara dhania shamil kar ke 1-2 minute halki aanch par chor dain. Masala aalo ko poori, paratha, roti ya dosa k sath serve karain. Masala Aalo Recipe in English: Ingredients: - Potatoes ½ kg - Cooking oil 4 tbsp. - Gram Dal 1 tsp. - White lentils 1 tsp. - Cumin seeds ½ tsp. - Mustard seeds 2 tsp. - Button chilies 4-5 - Curry leaves handful - Green chilies 3 - Salt To taste - Turmeric 1 ½ tsp. - Chili flakes 1 tsp. - Onion sliced 1 Directions: - Cut potatoes in cube and boil them for 6-7 minutes. - Soak lentils in water for 15 minutes and drain. Cut chilies diagonal. Thinly slice onions. - In a wok heat oil and add lentil and fry for a minute, when the change color, add onion, cumin and mustard seeds. - When onion turns translucent add button chili, turmeric and chili flakes. Mix well. - Add potatoes, curry leaves and salt. Mix well. - If required add water to avoid burning. - Add green chilies and coriander leaves and simmer for five minutes and turn off the flame. - Serve masala aalo with puri, paratha, roti or dosa.
