Cover from musician Tori Amos debuted in 2001 from her "Strange Little Girls Album," a compilation entirely of men's cover songs from a female perspective. Taken from Blender Magazine in 2002, Tori talks about the album's conversations: "I'm open about some of them. Slayer sent T-shirts; that was fun. But some of the messages and conversations were very personal. Yoko Ono had to approve 'Happiness Is A Warm Gun,' and she was absolutely divine. Neil Young had to hear 'Heart of Gold,' because I changed the lyrics. But I didn't change a word of Eminem's [Bonnie and Clyde]. Eminem and I have the same lawyer, which is handy." So, as you can see... This piece is unique, charismatic, passionate, brilliant, even a bit disturbing on it's own accord. I can only conclude, Tori's intentions were for love and tributary reasons of Lennon's work, life, and the unfortunate event causing his death. Her talent is unsurpassed, and she takes beautiful photo's, so making these montages of her are simply too easy.
