It’s not every day you’re able to catch up with your celeb bestie after having such a demanding schedule and working nonstop, but when duty calls, that time is completely necessary… and clearly Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift haven’t missed a beat when it comes to updating each other on their new additions in their lives. Selena sat down with Sirius XM’s The Morning Mashup yesterday when radio host Nicole Ryan subtly snuck in a question about Taylor’s new beau, saying QUOTE, “Both of you have some new things going on in your lives. You have some new people in your lives. Have you gotten a chance to hang out together with your new people?” And here’s what she had to say: And on that note, Sel also admitted that she hangs out with her “new person” a lot, as she’s been photographed at many of The Weeknd’s shows backstage, and admitted yesterday that she loves being his number one fan, saying QUOTE, “I love being supportive. I love just being there and having someone's back. It feels good. I haven't had that feeling in a while.” But the absolute best thing about attending someone else’s show? AMEN to that! But speaking of her own tours, Sel also admitted that even when on a break, she really “never stopped” working. She revealed that she just wanted to make sure everything lined up the way it needed to be and that her new content is very different from what fans are used to.
