Stormcloak scouts have reported that a small faction of Thalmor soldiers have set up shop within Northwatch Tower on the Northern coast of Skyrim. Embrace the word of mighty Talos, he who is both man and Divine’ CHARACTER INFORMATION Name: Lagertha Origin: Windhelm, Skyrim Race: Nord Class: Nightblade Faction: Stormcloaks Primary Skills: Cryomancy (Destruction Magic), Archery, Sneak Secondary Skills: Enchanting, Conjuration, One Handed CHARACTER BACKGROUND Lagertha‘s Father fought in ‘The Great War’ against the Aldmeri Dominion, but tragically died during battle with the Thalmor in the final days of conflict. Lagertha was so overcome with grief that she abruptly ended her studies at the College of Winterhold to return home to Windhelm and be with her family. The Great War was then said to have reached a stalemate that resulted in the ‘White-Gold Concordant’ peace treaty being signed by both the Empire, and the Aldmeri Dominion. However, many Nords of Skyrim were outraged at the terms outlined in the peace treaty, as they seemed to be weighted heavily in favour of the Thalmor, and were a threat to the customs and very existence of the Nords (to outlaw Talos worship and allow the Thalmor Justicar’s to roam freely throughout the Empire of Skyrim enforcing their will on the natives). Like many staunch Nords, Lagertha rejoiced at Ulfric’s return to Windhelm, and immediately joined the Stormcloak ‘Great Uprising’ against the Imperial Empire, whom they now perceived to be puppets controlled by the Thalmor. Recognising her talent for stealth, and her expert ability to control Cryomancy magic, she was named a ‘Nightblade’, and assigned to a special unit of the Stormcloak army to be used for infiltration/skirmish missions. CHARACTER MOTIVATION The Empire has betrayed us. I would sooner choose death than to see the Thalmor walk freely in the land of which I was born. Those who preach the supremacy of Mer over Men, those who seek to outlaw the religion of my ancestors and degrade the name of our Paragon. In the name of Mighty Talos, and in memory of my Father, we, the Stormcloaks, the true patriots of Skyrim, shall crush the Thalmor and purify this land once again.
