Lordi (qui était le pseudonyme du chanteur avant de devenir le nom du groupe) est un groupe de hard rock et de heavy metal traditionnel finlandais créé en 1996. Bien qu'il ne s'agisse pas d'un genre, on parle aussi de "monster metal" à propos de leur musique par rapport au fait qu'ils develloppent une esthétique et une imagerie particulière en rapport à la thématique des monstres.
