Kate Ryan, de son vrai nom Katrien Verbeek (née le 22 juillet 1980 à Tessenderlo, Limbourg, Belgique) est une chanteuse belge néerlandophone qui chante en anglais et en français, connue en France grâce à sa reprise du tube "Désenchantée", de Mylène Farmer. En 2001, Kate sort son premier disque "Scream For More" et elle devient une chanteuse dance connue en Europe, grâce à la chanson Désenchantée, une reprise de Mylène Farmer1. Le 18 mai 2006, elle représente la Belgique au Concours Eurovision de la chanson avec le titre "Je t’adore", mais ne passe pas la demi-finale ; sept points seulement la séparent de la qualification. Plus récemment, Kate a repris le titre de Desireless "Voyage, voyage". En 2008, elle sort une adaptation de la chanson de France Gall, 'Ella, elle l’a' et tente une percée sur le marché espagnol avec le titre « Tonight We Ride/No digas que no » en duo avec la chanteuse espagnole Soraya Arnelas. Le 12 avril 2011 Kate Ryan sortit un nouveau single appelé : "Lovelife". Son prochain album sera intitulé "Electroshok" Read more on Last.fm.
