Just a few days after they were spotted getting cozy in Miami, the paps caught Hailey and Justin grabbing coffee together in New York City. A source confirmed to Us Weekly that the two are in fact dating again. The source said, QUOTE: “Hailey has always loved Justin, and they have been best friends, so it’s no surprise that they’re hooking up again.” Justin and Hailey briefly dated from 2015 to 2016 but decided it was better just to stay friends. Hailey opened up about the breakup in a recent interview with The Times UK. Although she said she and Justin didn’t speak for awhile after the split, they eventually patched things up. She said QUOTE: “I’d never been through [a high-profile relationship] like that. But it brought both of us to the realization that we just work much better as friends. He’s somebody I really cherish. Now it’s a very mature situation. It’s good. It sounds a little more than good! Justin has also been pretty candid about his relationship with Hailey. In an interview with GQ back in 2016, Justin seemed adamant about taking things slow. He told the magazine QUOTE: “I know that in the past I’ve hurt people and said things that I didn’t mean to make them happy in the moment. So now I’m just more so looking at the future, making sure I’m not damaging them. What if Hailey ends up being the girl I’m gonna marry, right? If I rush into anything, if I damage her, then it’s always gonna be damaged. It’s really hard to fix wounds like that … I just don’t want to hurt her.” From what they’ve said about each other, it sounds like Hailey and Justin really care about one another.
