Earlier this summer I had the thrill of a lifetime getting to play a little boogie-woogie piano with the legendary Allen Toussaint at City Winery. Mr. Touissant has long been one of my very favorite pianists, singers, composers and arrangers; he's a true American music icon who's responsible for SO many classic songs and recordings.
