The five stanzas of the poem 'Jana Gana Mana' in Hindi with its English translation. It is originally composed and penned by Nobel laureate Rabindranath Tagore. It was written in the highly Sanskritised language (means Tatsama) Bengali, entirely using nouns which can also be used as verbs. The first stanza is adopted as the National Anthem of India. The Hindi version of the national anthem was adopted in 1950 on 24th of January by the Constituent Assembly. It was first sung in Calcutta in the meeting of Indian National Congress on 27th of December in 1911. The song titled "Jaya Hey" was produced by Saregama on the occasion of 150th birth anniversary of Tagore and sung by 39 celebrated artists.
