If you notice any stomach pain, indigestion, or constipation. Then your body is not tolerating the phytic acid in the oats, and you have to soak the oats for a few hours or overnight to reduce the acidity of the oats. Or you should lightly roast the oats, but since instant oats are precooked it usually does not create any issues.
