Vivo’s Full-Screen Smartphone Apex Could Be Rebranded As Vivo Nex Vivo has revealed that it is holding a launch event in Shanghai, China on 12th June where it will launch the Vivo Apex smartphone The Vivo Nex comes with Qualcomm‘s flagship Snapdragon 845 processor which is based on advanced 10nm LPP process technology. It has the Kryo 385 architecture and eight-core CPU, which has a clock speed of up to 2.8GHz and is coupled with the Adreno 630 GPU. The smartphone is expected to pack 8GB RAM and run company’s own FunTouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box. Recently, the company had revealed that the Apex will go into mass-production at some point during mid-2018. Interestingly, the half part of the display is integrated with an in-screen fingerprint reader, unlike the Vivo X20 Plus UD which has only one spot on the bottom portion of the screen. On the top edge of the display, there’s a hidden selfie camera that can be elevated when required. The front-facing camera takes only 0.8 seconds to pop-up, according to the company The Vivo Apex smartphone is scheduled to launch at an event in Shanghai, China on 12th June.
