I have always wanted a thinline tele, but when I actually got one, I ended up not really liking the humbucker-sized pickups in it. Perhaps one with traditional pickups would make me more happy. Anyways... Eric Johnson got fender to make a Fender Thinline Strat! I'm not sure if Fender has done this before or not... but it is a new one on me! How much do these guitars weigh? It seems the average is 7lbs... which is about 2 lbs heavier than I thought it was going to weigh. I think it would've been cool if the F-hole would've been on the upper horn of this guitar.
