This is a tale of Trixie and Rarity working on a magical show... except that it goes bucking wrong in so many ways that this description literally couldn't handle it. Hold your horses because this is going to be the craziest party that you'll ever attend to... Well, until the next Pinkamena Party album that is! Outstanding humor along music that pushes the boundaries and knows no limit. That's but one of the facets of this new Pinkamena Party album that just dropped, accompanied by a whole fanfic that I HIGHLY recommend reading while listening to the album. Why, that fanfic actually tells the story of the album, and references the tracks of the album that were actually named to fit the story!! You'll soon realize that this new album from the Pinkamena Party crew is actually a conceptual masterpiece of art, not just with the music and the storytelling, but also with the sheer humor of the fanfic and the crazy yet beautiful times that you'll spend with Rarity, Trixie, and a few surprise guests. Really, just check out that fanfic/story of the album from the Bandcamp description, its length may look intimidating at first, but I assure you that it's so very worth it to read it as the corresponding tracks in the album play and the story unfolds. I'm not even into comical things that much myself, but I was quite charmed by this tale and I quite enjoyed the experience, it just goes to show you how amazing it is, and that no matter the kind of work it is, ponies make wonderful things happen. I wish we could feature the whole album somehow because there's so many tracks exploring rich musical depths and reflecting a part of the story so well, but for now we bring you Dynamite Grizzly's amazing contribution to the album and the story. This incredible tune displays Dynamite's skill once more while practically remixing "Tricks Up My Sleeve" from Equestria Girls Rainbow Rocks. A smooth start introduces an emotional progression into quality Hardtek beats, with magical sounds and Trixie vocals creating a great and powerful spell that entrances the soul. This track is working well as an anthem of sorts for the album too, since it seems to showcase a part of Trixie's performance in the first act, and although it doesn't go as far in the madness or the darkness of the story as some other tracks do, I'm delighted to let it open the (Pinkamena) Party here at Sweet Apple Acres' Cider Party. I'm usually not much of a fanfic reader at all, but I thought that I'd give this one a try since it's the story of the concept album, and oh boy, it was so worth it! I'm usually not into gore/swear words either, but you know what they say, opposites attract... Davhors/sc.Dave did such a lovely work with that fanfic! Ponies truly make everything awesome. Despite all the gore and the deaths, at the end of the fic I had that cozy, fuzzy feeling, because of time spent with ponies, that afterparty and "drinking until you start speaking Spanish", Rarity "leaving with Trixie"... and also just because "ponies". I so love this community and all that it creates!!
