The audio was a bit out of sync the first up load, so here's another try at it. If you're not familiar with this band, for a period of two to three years beginning in 1968 Creedence Clearwater Revival was a hit making, hard rocking, world famous band from Oakland, CA and then they were gone. How big was CCR? The sold more records than the Beatles in 1969 ! FIghts with their record company over their contract, which was one of the worst from an artist's perspective was a big drain. So were the egos from what I have heard. Lead singer, writer and guitarist John Fogerty became an international star, while his brother Tom tried fronting new bands and died in 1990. CCR was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1993. Bass player Stu Cook and drummer Doug Clifford were there as was John Fogerty, in fact he and his group performed including doing a number of the biggest CCR hits. How sad it was that Stu Cook and Doug Clifford didn't reunite for that one evening with John Fogerty. He had refused to play with them. For more info here's a link to Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creedence_Clearwater_Revival I edited the audio replacing the video track with the actual audio of the performance from the CD Creedence Clearwater Revival " The Concert" on Fantasy FCD 9686-2
