It’s been way too long since the Internet has been graced with an Azealia Banks diss, and this time the shade was thrown to the current-No. 1-single-chart-holdier-Cardi B… bold move, I must say. Following the success of “Bodak Yellow” dethroning all current singles this week, Azealia apparently didn’t take the news lightly as she took to Twitter to write a series of tweets that have since been deleted, saying QUOTE, “She's only black when black want to include themselves in a success story. I thought she was going to be a Latina hottie and not a poor man’s Nicki. It went the other way and now I'm over it. I wanted spicy Latina and she gave me poor man’s Nicki.” She also posted similar quotes to her Instagram story and also called out “black industry men” for endorsing “Bodak Yellow” but not giving the same support to Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj. But leave it to Cardi to CLAP BACK with the most epic receipts, as seen on her own Instagram account, of Azealia singing along to “Bodak Yellow” in the club. Clearly catching wind of Azealia’s diss and captioned the video, “One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1! Cuz even the HATERS love it! But the dissing didn’t stop there… apparently that one struck a nerve with Azealia as she then commented on the video of herself, writing, “We know you fuck for raps gurl. Just like a typical audobon avenue smut. Keep it up!” K, I don’t know about you guys, but I’m sensing the green monster called JEALOUSY clearly being awoken from the den. Not to mention even more receipts of Azealia praising Cardi B’s music a while back during an interview with XXL, saying QUOTE, “I always thought she was funny, and when she started rapping, I was like… what is she doing? Then I heard “Foreva” and I was like, Okay, this is really fucking good, she’s not playing. Then I heard a couple other songs and I was like, Oh shit, Cardi’s not playing! And now I’m a fan of Cardi B’s music and her personality.” By the looks of Cardi’s clapback, the girl really ISN’T playing, but as for now, if you need her, she’ll be sitting at the top of the music throne laughing down at all the haters.
