Hello everyone, This is a re-creation of the famous Before The Flood album, using the soundboards of the final two Los Angeles Forum shows from 1974 with The Band. The tapes come from LB-10164 and is a complete stereo soundboard Bob reunited with his old pals from The Band (also known as The Hawks) in 1973 to record a new album: Planet Waves. It was the first sign of a creative rebirth after Bob stopped touring in order to raise his children, and the mixed reception of his country albums (Nashville Skyline to New Morning) and the soundtrack of Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid. The tour proved to be very successful, since it was Bob's first major tour since his motorcycle accident in 1966, eight years ago. Bob and The Band played their major hits and also a few deep-cuts, pleasing both old and new fans alike. This version offers a better representation of the tour than the official album while keeping its integrity and an astonishingly good sound. I hope you will this experience as much as I do.
