Here are some clips of BF4 I recorded using Nvidia ShadowPlay. I'm testing this new feature out on my Nvidia GTX 670 to see how it works. Let me know what you think!!!! I think it plays back faster than normal game speed. This file has gone through Sony MovieStudio 12 to edit it (combine clips) and then Handbrake to compress it more for upload. ShadowPlay is a video recording feature added to 600 series and up Nvidia GPUs. It is available in the GeForce Experience software download. Here is a video with more information on ShadowPlay http://youtu.be/Lyy3ZijLJ0s You need at least a 600 Series Nvidia GPU to make it work. And this DOES NOT work on AMD GPUs. The best thing about this recorder is there is ZERO performance hit while playing. Also it records 1080p at 60 FPS and up to 50 Mbps so the quality is great. In shadow mode the game is continuously recorded and you can save anywhere from 1 to 20 minutes of the previous gameplay by pressing a button. So you will never miss any action again. In manual mode you can record full games, or longer. The only limit is the size of your hard drive. There is also a hybrid mode which allows you to use shadow mode and manual mode together. This way you never miss any action (since it is always recording to a temporary file) and if you want to record longer or shorter clips you can do that by pressing a different button from the button used to save shadow recordings. It is an awesome feature, and again, it is exclusive to Nvidia GPUs. Currently it is in Beta.
