Woman holding young girl in Belgium shirt crying STORYLINE: Thousands of fans watching Belgium play Brazil on a giant screen in Brussels' Grade Place erupted into cheers, then started shouting and booing when their first-half goal was disallowed. The supporters in Brussels were dismayed when, in the 36th minute, Belgium captain Marc Wilmots outleaped Roque Junior and headed in a cross from Jacky Peeters, but Jamaican referee Peter Prendergast called it back, alleging a foul on the Brazilian. It was the minority Brazilian fans who eventually had the square cheering, when Ronaldo and Rivaldo both scored against the Belgians. Brazil, still favourite to win, meet England in a quarterfinal in Shizuoka on Friday.
