Bangladeshi police have killed nine suspected militants during a gun battle in the capital Dhaka. Authorities say the two-hour-long gun fight occurred during a raid on a building in which the suspects were hiding. Security forces also arrested a man and the location is being inspected by explosive experts. Police said the slain suspects belonged to a terrorist group who were responsible for a deadly attack on a cafe earlier his month. Daesh had claimed responsibility for the July one assault which left twenty people, mostly foreigners, dead. However, the Bangladeshi government rejected the claim, blaming the attack on a local militant group.
