Moto taxi ride 60 baht is normal for this ride. I can sometimes get them down to 40 or 50 but nowadays I don't bother. It can be a lottery as to how safe your driver is and this one wasn't shy in doing high speed weaves through heavy traffic. Was a bit sketchy to say the least. Soi 4 walkaround As the time was approaching 1am there was pretty much only freelancers, couples and stragglers on the sidewalks. In front of Strikers bar The sidewalk in front of Strikers bar is home to many dirty massage girls / ladyboys, freelancers and general riff raff. Some of the massage girls are nice looking there and it's best to negotiate the optional extras you want before heading in for a rub down. They mostly do reasonable rates too. Sometimes you can even see groups of near broke Westerners sipping Sangsom on this sidewalk. They pull up a table and chairs and live the dream at a fraction of the price of a drink in the bars.
