Day #22 of my 2015 UK & Ireland Tour and for this food challenge I’m at The Duck Inn Restaurant in the Oakenshaw area of Redditch, England, near Birmingham. Here I’ll be taking on their undefeated Bangers and Mash Eating Challenge weighing over 6lbs!! The Duck Inn's Bangers & Mash Eating Challenge (£19.50): - Six 8 oz 100% British foot-long pork sausages, handcrafted at The Duck Inn - Six pounds freshly made British potato mash - 2 pints of rich onion brown gravy - 1 pint of peas (I got way more than a pint!!) Challengers get only 20 minutes to finish the challenge, which is why it was previously undefeated. Winners receive a free T-shirt along with their name and photo up on the Wall Of Fame and a Certificate Of Completion. It costs £19.50 whether you win or lose. The only reason I attempted the challenge is because there was really no other bangers and mash challenges available for me to try, and I really wanted to do a bangers & mash challenge.
