Soil health and soil fertility are key components in quality production of potato, however, in the Eastern Africa countries of Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia farmers lacked technologies and knowledge to realise optimum production. This video "The New Tuber Dawn" shows efforts by scientists from the International Potato Center (CIP), Egerton University Kenya, Ethiopia Agricultural Research Institute, National Agriculture Institute (NARO) Uganda, the University of Nairobi, Kenya Agricultural Research Institute (KARI) and Boku University Vienna Austria in management of the bacterial wilt disease and improvement of soil fertility.
