Avicii, de son vrai nom Tim Bergling né le 8 septembre 1989 à Stockholm et mort le 20 Avril 2018 à Mascate à Oman, est un DJ et producteur suédois de musique house. Il a également produit des titres sous d'autres pseudonymes tels que Tim Berg, Ashwin, Yeshel, Harshil ou Tom Hangs. Avicii commence à produire lorsque ses amis lui affirment que ses productions étaient digne d'un travail de professionnel. Avicii commence la musique avec un remix de la musique du jeu Lazy Jones sorti sur l'ordinateur Commodore 64. Le titre du remix est Lazy Lace sorti sur le label Strike Recordings. Avicii était attiré par la production, il passa la plupart de son temps à créer des titres. Avicii n'a pas essayé de sortir des titres cantonné à la house mais a voulu rester dans les style musicaux actuel. Avicii s'inspiree des DJ & producteur Laidback Luke, Steve Angello et Tocadisco, Daft Punk, Eric Prydz et Axwell. En Avril 2008, Avicii sort son premier titre, Manman, sur le label de Pete Tong Bedroom Bedlam. Il gagne le "Pete Tong Fast Trax". Avicii a été plébiscité à 70% du public et sort donc le titre. Suite à cela il est contacté par de nombreux labels à travers le monde. Laidback Luke parle d' Avicii en disant : Avicii, by winning this competition, left many contesters behind in their dust. / So a big CONGRATULATIONS to these brilliant DJs for winning the contest and all the luck with their future careers! Avicii dit vouloir créer des chansons pour des gens qui s'aiment, que ce soit à la maison ou dans les clubs. Avicii met une place importante à la mélodie dans ses productions.
