On today's episode of Behind the Greens, we travel to Jasmine Vineyards in Delano, California, for a close-up on their Sweet Sunshine seedless table grapes. Jamsine Vineyards is a licensee of International Fruit Genetics, one of the worlds leading fruit breeding operations. This partnership allows Jasmine access to IFG's proprietary selections, like the Sweet Sunshine. The Sweet Sunshine is an elongated mid-season white seedless variety, which is harvested from August to October. It's known for being highly productive, with large bunches of berries that offer a remarkably crisp and refreshing flavor. The berries themselves are a naturally larger size. Once the grapes are picked, they're bagged and brought to Jasmine's cold storage facility.
