A must try Aloo Kofta Curry Recipe for you today. #HappyCookingToYou Recipe in English: Ingredients: Prepare Aloo koftay: -Aloo (Potatoes) boiled & mashed 500 gms -Bread crumbs 4 tbs -Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) ½ tsp -Chaat masala ½ tsp -Namak (Salt) ½ tsp or to taste -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) 1 & ½ tbs -Oil for frying Prepare Gravy: -Oil 2 tbs -Pyaz (Onion) cubes 1 large -Lehsan (Garlic) 2 cloves -Adrak (Ginger) ½ inch piece -Tamatar (Tomatoes) cubes 2 medium -Oil 4 tbs -Darchini (Cinnamon stick) 1 -Laung (Cloves) 2 -Hari elaichi (Cardamom) 1-2 -Zeera (Cumin seeds) ½ tsp -Haldee powder (Turmeric powder) ¼ tsp -Lal mirch powder (Red chili powder) 1 tsp -Dhania powder (Coriander powder) ½ tsp -Namak (Salt) 1 tsp or to taste -Pani (Water) 1 & ½ Cups -Garam masala powder ½ tsp -Qasuri methi (Dried fenugreek leaves) 2 tsp -Oil for frying -Cream for garnishing -Hara dhania (Fresh coriander) Directions: Prepare Aloo Koftay: -In mashed potaoes,add bread crumbs,red chili powder,chaat masala,salt,fresh coriander and mix well, let it rest for 15 minutes. -Take a small mixture and make 8-10 koftay (balls) of equal sizes and set aside. Prepare Gravy: -In frying pan,add oil,onion,garlic,ginger and fry until translucent & set aside. -In the same frying pan,add tomatoes and cook until soft (2-3 minutes) & set aside. -In blender,add onions and tomatoes and blend until pureed & set aside. -In pot,add oil,cinnamon stick,cloves,cardamom and mix. -Add cumin seeds and mix,add tomato & onion puree,mix well,add turmeric powder,red chili powder, coriander powder and salt,mix and cook until oil separates. -Add water,mix well and bring it to boil and cook for 2-3 minutes. -Add garam masala powder,dried fenugreek leaves and mix well. -In wok,heat oil and fry aloo koftay until golden brown. -On serving plate,pour gravy and place fried aloo koftay,garnish with cream,fresh coriander & serve. Prepare Gravy: -Frying pan mein oil,pyaz,lehsan aur adrak dal ker translucent hunay tak fry ker lein aur side per rakh dein. -Us he frying pan mein tamatar dal dein aur naram hunay tak paka lein (2-3 minutes) aur side per rakh dein. -Blender mein pyaz aur tamatar dal dein aur blend ker ka puree tayyar ker lein & side per rakh dein. -Pot mein oil,darchini,laung aur hari elaichi dal ker mix ker lein. -Zeera dal ker mix karein,pyaz & tamatar puree dal ker ache tarhan mix karein,haldee powder,lal mirch powder,dhania powder aur namak dal ker mix karein aur oil alag hunay tak paka lein. -Pani shamil karein,ubal anay ka bad 2-3 minutes kliya paka lein. -Garam masala powder aur qasuri meethi dal ker ache tarhan mix ker lein. -Karhai mein oil garam karein aur aloo koftay ko golden brown fry ker lein. -Serving plate mein gravy dal dein,fried aloo koftay rakh dein,cream aur hara dhania sa garnish ker ka serve karein.
