It was inevitable that I'd get potato blight because of this years wet humid weather so in order to protect the potatoes I had to harvest the lot as soon as I saw evidence of the infection. The King Edwards were pretty small but everything else was reasonable. I managed a decent crop of the Blue potatoes,kestrel and pink fir apples It's better to get some smaller spuds than leave them to be infected by the spores being washed into the soil and not get any at all. There's always next year.
