Evie's actress Sofia Carson is worth getting to know since her breakout role in the franchise, and here are ten things you didn't know about her! Sofia has been on Disney Channel before One of her first parts was as a girl named Chelsea on the musical sitcom Austin & Ally. That marked her debut in the Disney universe. #9. Politics are in her blood Sofia is distantly related to the Chars through her mom. The Chars are a family of politicians in Columbia. #8. She's graduated from college Sofia went to the University of California, Los Angeles, or UCLA for those in the know. Her major was, fittingly, communications and she minored in French. #7. Sofia will be in a major movie soon The film is called Asbury Park and is set in the 1970s. Sofia will play Gloria alongside big names like Adam Levine and the Hellboy himself, Ron Perlman.
